Microsoft announces significant upgrades to Bing’s AI-powered search engine:
Multimodal support: it can support charts, graphs, and other image/video formats in addition to natural language.
Bing Plugins: developers will soon be able to build on top of Bing with third-party plugins, like using an OpenTable plugin to book a reservation or Wolfram Alpha to answer math questions.
Other features: permanent chat history, export and share functionalities, and Bing in your Edge sidebar.

Inflection launches Pi: it is designed to be a personal chatbot that can develop into virtual companionship over time as it learns from your personal interactions. You can talk to your bot across various platforms, across which its memories of your interactions are maintained.
Replit Releases ReplitLM, specialized on code completion: replit-code-v1-3b is out! It specializes in generative coding, claiming state-of-the-art performance on the typical benchmarks better than OpenAI’s Codex, and is open-source commercially.
